The Practical guide to e-learning for industry is an effective set of information screens, checklists and links that will help any business, large or small, to get started in e-learning, or to improve existing e-learning programs.
The production of the Practical guide to e-learning for industry (Practical guide) is part of the Industry Engagement Project of the Australian Flexible Learning Framework. Collaboratively funded by the Australian Government and all States and Territories, the Australian Flexible Learning Framework aims to promote the uptake of e-learning and to support industry and business with the application of e-learning practices.
This Practical guide was developed as a response to feedback from industry that they needed information on how to get started in e-learning. It is not intended that the Practical guide be a fixed resource. The Industry Engagement Project Team and the Practical guide developers, Dr Neville Higgins (nhiggins@catalystinteractive.com.au) and Dr David Keightley (david@dara.com.au) formerly of 108 Digital Pty Ltd, Canberra, are interested in your on going feedback, new ideas, case studies and comments. The development team acknowledges the input of Gidley McCullagh in a recent review of the content of the Practical guide. You can email industry@flexiblelearning.net.au or put questions and comments in the interactive area on the industry website at http://industry.flexiblelearning.net.au.
