This e-learning demonstration was piloted by the HR Advisor in each state for the induction training in our Eurest, Medirest, Restaurant Associates, All Leisure, Scolarest and ESS businesses. In total 150 sites participated. Overall, the training has been very well received and 100% of all new employees passed the final assessment.
The feedback we received led to the process being made more interactive. A number of the pages were re-formatted so that an activity had to be completed, e.g. Flash drag-and-drop quizzes etc. This has the benefit of verifying and reinforcing training in smaller components during the Induction process rather than a larger single test at the end.
